Machining has undergone significant development in step with technological advances. The trend has moved toward multi-tasking in CNC machining. This means that all machining operations—such as turning, milling, drilling, and threading—are performed in a single process.

KAMF has, of course, kept pace with these developments and has invested in two Turn/Mill Centers with integrated robot technology. The benefits are numerous, such as the elimination of multiple setups—often performed on several different machines—the ability to run unmanned production using automatic material feeding and workpiece removal, and significantly higher precision. For example, we have workpieces that previously required seven setups and can now be reduced to a single setup in our Turn/Mill Center. The result is significantly shorter lead times and more cost-effective production. Our machine park also includes 18 CNC machines for milling and turning, which are integrated with advanced 3D CAD/CAM equipment and OneSystem logistics solutions.

Through our OneSystem, we perform online production planning, which ensures that orders are processed efficiently and on time.
